One Community at a Time

One Community At A Time connects people, communities and business’ to write a new story about happy, healthy communities.

The overwhelming need that still exists for a majority of Australia’s First Peoples doesn’t add up given the annual Australian Government spend, which seemingly does little to change the social indicators and improve the lives of people and community.

One Community At A Time through collaborative partnerships connects organisations through their Reconciliation Action Plans to adopt a community creating sustainable relationships to make a difference and future proof the story.

Mutitjulu in the Northern Territory is the community at the eastern end of Uluru. It is located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and the Anangu people are the traditional owners and joint managers with Parks Australia.

Currently The Gaimaragal Group is working with community members from Mutitjulu and business’ on the east coast of Australia to create social change to build social capital through social activism.
